In this workshop, you’ll explore:
• Two handbuilding techniques to create your chosen piece
• Three major decoration techniques: sgraffito, painting, and carving
At the end, Alexandra will cover your creations with non-toxic glaze and fire them, resulting in functional, food-safe mugs—perfect gifts for the holiday season!
Discover the joy of working with clay as you let your imagination flow and form lasting connections with fellow artists. All skill levels are welcome, and materials will be provided.
About the artist: Alexandra is a hereditary potter has been working in ceramics for over 15 years. Last three years she worked in a Northwest Pottery, together with her own studio Sunny Sasha Pottery. As a prizewinner at the 2024 International Ceramics Exhibition and a participant in major art shows in Seattle, Alexandra brings a wealth of experience to her teaching.
